A morning bus ride from Ankara to one of the most visited historic areas in Turkey. Pamukkale, translated into “Cotton Castel” carries significant historic stories with its breathtaking views, unusual white rocks and the thermal water with carbonate minerals.

Aside from its magnificent views, benefits and history; gift shops are something outta of this world, because, besides the short term memories and pictures of what you see, ancient gifts and souvenirs are the ones that keep those memories alive for years and years to come.

I happily purchased a Turkey’s flag red shirt; that I adore so much, organic soaps, a weird hat, handmade culturally designed bag and an entry ticket to the ruins themselves, collecting all those memories, inhaling the beautiful view and the fascinating history.
